Ryan Holem received his MS degree in the Hopkins laboratory in 2005. He is currently an environmental consultant working for GEI Consultants in East Lansing, Michigan.

For his master’s work, Ryan examined the effects of malathion and Pb (both neurotoxicants) on the locomotor performance of the western fence lizard (Sceloporus occidentalis). His focus on sublethal performance parameters has rarely been explored in reptiles and is an important contribution to this growing literature. In Ryan’s spare time, he is an avid outdoorsman and a rabid Michigan State fan (Go Green!).
