Clara was an undergraduate researcher in the Hopkins Lab, and graduated with her B.S. at Virginia Tech in the department of biochemistry in 2019. Among other research tasks, she developed mass spectrometry analyses to profile seasonal blood hormone fluctuations in aquatic salamanders. Clara is now a PhD student in the Biotechnology Training Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
