Dr. Sarah DuRant, Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas and Hopkins lab Alum, was recently awarded a 5 year CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation, among the most prestigious funding accomplishments available to pre-tenure faculty members. Dr. DuRant’s work is very timely, as she will be examining the role of maternal behavior in driving bidirectional interactions between infectious diseases and offspring immune phenotype.
